1. Description of Service

Real Online Notepad provides a free, web-based digital text editor and notepad application operating inside the user's web browser. Features include tabbed note management, Markdown preview, search and replace, export capabilities, and local autosave functionality.

2. Permitted Use & User Responsibilities

You may use Real Online Notepad for personal, educational, or commercial text editing purposes. You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the web application source files for malicious purposes.
• Use the web application to distribute malware, automated bot traffic, or perform denial-of-service (DoS) attacks.
• Rely on Real Online Notepad as an enterprise backup solution without keeping independent secondary backups of critical data.

3. Local Data Storage & User Data Ownership

All notes, drafts, and configurations are stored strictly on your local browser device via HTML5 LocalStorage and IndexedDB APIs. We do not store or host your documents on external servers.

Data Preservation: Because all data is stored locally in your web browser, clearing your browser cache, using private/incognito modes, or uninstalling your web browser may result in the deletion of locally saved notes. You are responsible for exporting or saving important documents to your local computer or storage drive.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

Your Content: You retain 100% ownership, copyright, and full intellectual property rights to all text, notes, and code snippets you compose or edit using Real Online Notepad.

Application Ownership: The design, branding, logo, code, and user interface of Real Online Notepad are protected under copyright and trademark laws.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

REAL ONLINE NOTEPAD IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

6. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL REAL ONLINE NOTEPAD OR ITS OPERATORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING DATA LOSS OR SAVING FAILURE ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION.
